Tuno TV Support

How can we help?

For support, feedback, or feature requests, email RonnyAppsStudio@outlook.com.

When reporting a problem, please include:

  • Your device model: iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV
  • The operating-system version
  • The Tuno TV version
  • What you were trying to do
  • The exact error message, if one appeared

Protect your private information

Do not email playlist passwords, account credentials, payment information, or complete playlist URLs containing credentials. If a sample URL is necessary, remove usernames, passwords, access tokens, and other private values before sending it.

Adding a playlist

Tuno TV accepts compatible extended M3U channel playlists. On iPhone and iPad, you can add a playlist URL or import a compatible local playlist file. Apple TV supports adding playlists through a URL.

A standard playlist contains channel entries followed by playable stream URLs. Tuno TV can play compatible HLS .m3u8 stream URLs contained within a playlist. However, a standalone HLS media manifest is not treated as a multi-channel playlist.

Tuno TV does not provide playlists or channel subscriptions. Contact your playlist provider if you need a playlist URL, credentials, or information about your content rights.

A playlist will not load

Check the following:

  1. The playlist URL begins with http:// or https://.
  2. The link is still active and works on the device’s current network.
  3. The playlist is an extended M3U channel list containing valid channel entries.
  4. Any username, password, or access token included in the URL is current.
  5. Your provider allows access from your device, location, and network.

If a local playlist file cannot be imported, confirm that it is a readable, text-based M3U file.

A channel will not play

Stream availability is controlled by the stream provider. A channel may fail because it is offline, geo-restricted, expired, incompatible with Apple’s playback system, or temporarily unreachable.

Try playing the channel again, switch to a different network, and confirm that the provider still lists the stream as active. Tuno TV cannot restore or repair a stream that its provider has removed or blocked.

Guide information is missing

TV guide information is optional. Tuno TV can use a compatible XMLTV guide declared by the playlist, a guide URL you add, or available public metadata. A channel may continue to play normally even when guide information is unavailable.

Guide matching works best when the playlist and guide use matching channel identifiers. Contact your provider if channel identifiers or schedule information are missing.

Restore Tuno TV Premium

Open Tuno TV Premium and select Restore Purchases. Make sure the device is signed in to the Apple Account that originally purchased the subscription.

If a purchase or refund is missing from your Apple Account, contact Apple’s purchase support. Ronny Apps Studio does not receive or store your payment-card information and cannot directly modify App Store billing records.

Premium sync is not updating

Confirm that:

  • Tuno TV Premium is active for the Apple Account currently in use.
  • iCloud is enabled on each device.
  • Each device has an active internet connection.
  • The remote playlist remains available from its provider.

Only eligible configuration information is synchronized. Imported playlist files, downloaded channel catalogs, guide schedules and caches, channel artwork, stream-check results, playback history, and Recently Watched remain on each device.

Delete local information

You can delete playlists and custom categories within Tuno TV and clear Recently Watched history from the app.

Removing Tuno TV deletes its local app data from that device. Premium configuration stored in iCloud may remain associated with your Apple Account until it is removed through Tuno TV or through Apple’s iCloud data-management controls.
