Tuno TV Privacy Policy

Ronny Apps Studio respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Tuno TV handles information when you use the app on iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.

Summary

Tuno TV does not require a Ronny Apps Studio account. The app does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or an analytics SDK. Ronny Apps Studio does not sell personal information.

Tuno TV stores your library locally on your device. If you activate Tuno TV Premium, eligible configuration can be stored in your private iCloud account so it can appear on your supported Apple devices.

Tuno TV connects to Apple services and to the playlist, stream, artwork, guide, and public metadata services needed to perform features you request. Those services receive ordinary network information when your device connects to them.

Information stored on your device

Depending on the features you use, Tuno TV stores the following information locally:

  • Playlist names, links, settings, and imported playlist files
  • Parsed channel catalogs
  • Guide settings, schedules, and caches
  • Favorite channels and custom categories
  • Playback history and Recently Watched information
  • Channel artwork and public metadata caches
  • Stream availability and quality results
  • App and content-discovery preferences

This information remains in Tuno TV’s app storage until you remove it, clear the relevant history, reset the app’s data where available, or uninstall the app. Some downloaded cache files may be removed automatically by the operating system.

Protect sensitive playlist information

Playlist and guide URLs can contain usernames, passwords, access tokens, or other provider credentials. Treat these URLs as sensitive information and obtain them only from sources you trust.

Tuno TV Premium and iCloud

If you have an active Tuno TV Premium subscription, Tuno TV uses Apple’s private iCloud key-value storage to synchronize eligible settings associated with your Apple Account.

The synchronized information can include:

  • Remote playlist names, URLs, and settings
  • Guide configuration
  • Favorite channels
  • Custom-category names, colors, icons, and eligible channel references

The following information is not synchronized by Tuno TV Premium:

  • Imported playlist files
  • Downloaded channel catalogs
  • Guide schedules and caches
  • Channel artwork
  • Stream-check results
  • Playback history and Recently Watched

Your iCloud data is handled by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple’s terms and privacy practices. Ronny Apps Studio does not operate a separate user-account database for Premium synchronization.

Network connections and third-party services

Tuno TV makes network requests when you import or refresh a remote playlist, load artwork, play a stream, retrieve guide information, check stream availability, load public IPTV metadata, or verify a purchase.

Depending on the features you use, your device may connect to:

  • A playlist, stream, artwork, or guide provider selected by you or declared by your playlist
  • Apple for App Store purchases, StoreKit entitlement verification, and private iCloud synchronization
  • IPTV-org public metadata services
  • Tuno TV’s Cloudflare-hosted public guide-distribution service

These services may receive standard technical information needed to complete a request, such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, device networking information, and ordinary HTTP headers. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies and operational practices.

Ronny Apps Studio does not use these requests to build an advertising profile or track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites.

Tuno TV supports both HTTP and HTTPS sources because playlist providers control their stream endpoints. HTTP does not encrypt traffic in transit. Use trusted providers and prefer HTTPS sources whenever available.

Purchases

Tuno TV Premium purchases and subscription status are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Ronny Apps Studio does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

The app receives the product and transaction information needed to determine whether Premium access is active and to restore purchases.

Data collection, advertising, and tracking

Tuno TV does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. Ronny Apps Studio does not use Tuno TV data for targeted advertising and does not sell information about you.

Infrastructure providers may process limited technical request information to deliver, secure, and maintain their services. Playlist and media providers you choose are independent third parties, and Ronny Apps Studio does not control their data practices.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains on a device until you remove the relevant playlist, category, or history, reset applicable data, or uninstall Tuno TV.

Premium configuration in private iCloud storage may remain associated with your Apple Account across devices. Deleting a synchronized playlist or category while Premium sync is active updates the synchronized configuration. You can also manage app data associated with iCloud through Apple’s device and account controls.

Ronny Apps Studio does not maintain a central Tuno TV user-account database from which a personal profile can be retrieved or deleted.

Children’s privacy

Tuno TV is not directed to children under 13, and Ronny Apps Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Playlist providers determine the content available through their playlists. Parents and guardians are responsible for selecting appropriate sources and supervising access.

Security

Tuno TV limits synchronized information to eligible configuration and uses Apple’s private iCloud service for Premium synchronization. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Protect playlist URLs containing credentials, keep your Apple Account secure, and use trusted networks and content providers.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Tuno TV’s features or data practices change. The revised policy will display a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the app or its public website when appropriate.
